Sarah and I just got back from a nice - LONG - Memorial Weekend! We spent it in Morris for the Felstul Family Reunion (her mom's side of the family). We got up to Morris Friday night and had some fun out at the farm playing Wii and hanging out with Sarah's parents and her brothers. It is always so nice to see everyone!
On Saturday, we woke up slightly tired but ready for golf! Sarah and I are not big golfers, but it was a beautiful day and we had a great time golfing with Sarah's uncle Bob and aunt Geri!
After the golf outing we joined the rest of the family at Wells Park for a picnic! We ate, drank, and had a great time! Sarah's brothers led all of the kids in a rousing game a kickball...which was super fun to watch...lots of laughs! On Sunday, we all went to church and then Sarah's aunt Barb and cousins Kristie and Lisa threw us a wonderful entertainment-themed wedding shower. My parents and brother joined us and it was a nice afternoon. I don't have any pictures yet from the shower, but when we get some...we will post them. Sarah and I really enjoyed the weekend and thought it was super cool to have our two families together!
To finish this post off...I thought I would post this picture of our new place settings that we got at the shower from Sarah's family. The table looks great!!

It was a super weekend!! Great fun to spend relaxing time with Travis' family. Our family reunion was a lot of fun and great for Travis to get to know all of us a little better--------he hasn't called off the wedding because of his future family and that is great.

Yahoo for west central Minnesota folks like my husband and me (we're from Bellingham and Madison)! Morris is right near there, too - close to Lake Wobegon where the women are strong, the men are good looking, and the children are all way above average, donchya know. :) Love your new wedding glog! The "what to wear" section is divine. You two are tech users on steroids! I love it!
